40th Annual UCLA-Affiliated Multi-Campus Family Medicine Research Day (2024)

This annual event is designed to promote research on important issues related to improving care provided to patients in family medicine and primary care settings. The Multi-Campus Research Forum (affectionately referred to as "Research Day") facilitates the exchange of scholarly activities and highlights the creative work conducted by residents, fellows, faculty, staff, and medical students from UCLA-Affiliated Family Medicine Residency programs.

2024 Meeting Information

The next Research Day event will take place in-person on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the California Endowment (Center for Healthy Communities Los Angeles): 1000 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. There will be a morning Faculty Development Session (invitation only), and the main Research Day activities will be held in the afternoon. Registration information and schedule details will be announced in the upcoming months.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts (or Case Reports) are now being accepted for Research Day 2024. Click here for the Call-for-Abstracts Flyer. Please review the Submission Guidelines before proceeding. Abstracts are due by 11:59pm on April 15, 2024 and must be submitted via the Submission Portal. We recommend that you review the guidelines first, and create a draft of your abstract/case report in Word (or another word processing software) to make use of the character-count feature to ensure your entries meet the character count restrictions for each section, as per the guidelines. Then you can easily copy-and-paste into the online submission portal when you are ready to submit. Please be sure to coordinate with your institution prior to submission to ensure compliance with their submission policies. Some institutions/departments prefer that you submit your abstracts/reports to them for review prior to submission.
