Thanks to our local and global community, UCLA Health has received an enormous outpouring of support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The generous donations of PPE, meals, food service, and gifts of appreciation for the UCLA Health staff have been deeply valued.
As we continue to comprehensively address the demands of COVID-19 while returning to normal operations and caring for our larger community of patients, we have created some new ways for you to support our dedicated health professionals.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We are closely monitoring PPE needs to ensure preparedness for safe pandemic response and patient care. Although our inventory is currently stable, we will continue to review offers of large PPE donations.

Feeding the Front Line
UCLA Health seeks to help ease the many burdens on our teams of doctors, nurses, and health care workers caused by the global pandemic. These courageous and skilled professionals are the foot soldiers in disease prevention and the daily delivery of patient care. In the line of duty, they put patients first. Donors who want to make a gift of sustenance to honor our medical professionals can donate to #TeamLA: Feeding the Front Line. You will be helping UCLA Health provide complimentary cafeteria meals, coffee, and snacks to fuel our doctors, nurses, and staff during their shifts.
In these unprecedented times, it takes a village to meet the challenges of COVID-19 head on. If you would like to represent #TeamLA and crowdfund one of our COVID-19 response efforts, consider creating a UCLA Health Personal Fundraising page to share with your friends and family.
Unlike GoFundMe, UCLA Health’s internal crowdfunding platform allows 100% of donations to stay with UCLA. Play an active part in rallying our community together during this time of solidarity.
If you have any questions about starting a crowdfunding campaign for one of our COVID-19 response efforts, please contact us at HSDAnnualGiving@support.ucla.edu.
COVID-19 is an unprecedented crisis that has strained health care systems globally. To address the ongoing and emerging needs of the public, UCLA implemented a successful emergency preparedness strategy for COVID-19, beginning with expanding capacity to care for an influx of patients at both Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Health - Santa Monica Medical Center.
