The Neurodevelopmental Disorder Program at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, which include autism, global developmental delays, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, neonatal prematurity, tic disorders, and genetic disorders that have neurodevelopmental consequences.   Our physicians and staff are highly trained in a multi-disciplinary manner and passionate about addressing all the needs and issues associated with these disorders.  We have a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to diagnosing and treating children with neurodevelopmental delays and provide guidance and support to their families.

Our program has a strong collaboration with other specialists and providers at UCLA including with the Neonatal ICU team, Orthopedics and Cerebral Palsy clinic, Child Psychiatry Department, Child Development Department and our Neuro-Genetics team.  We also collaborate closely with other community neuro-developmental clinics and treatment centers.  We also work with Regional Centers, public schools and non-public schools to collaborate and provide the best care possible to our patients.

We are also a training site for future Neurology, Pediatrics and Child Neurology residents and medical students. They are able to learn and benefit from all the various disciplines and becomes experts in the field of Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Additionally, we have two Neurodevelopmental Disorders Advanced Training Options.
