Taking care of a newborn and infant is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever encounter in life. Whether you're a first time parent or a veteran to the process, one thing that everyone will agree upon for sure is that there is a lot of love and hard work that goes into caring for a baby.
It's an exciting time when you go home with a new baby and we want to be there with you to help you along the way to make sure your newborn and infant is cared for properly and all your questions are answered. We encourage you to take advantage of a variety of services for newborns and babies that are offered at our clinic.
Your child needs regular visits with a pediatrician who is up to date with guidelines regarding vaccination schedules, screening tests, and healthy child development.
Including but not limited to: childhood infections, feeding difficulties, sleeping difficulties, behavioral and developmental concerns

If your child is born at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center or Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, we will be at your bedside within 24 hours after the baby is born and visit you and your baby every day you are in the hospital and direct all medical care given to your baby.

Breastfeeding is a wonderful, natural gift you can give your child, but it doesn't always feel so natural! We can help coach you through some breastfeeding techniques to make this a successful, enjoyable part of your relationship with your babies.
Available Monday to Friday during regular business hours, and immediate care from 5 pm - 7 pm.
