Scott Boynton is a board qualified surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a member of the Department of Vascular Surgery at UCLA, section of Podiatry. He completed his residency training at the DVA Greater Los Angeles and Olive View-UCLA Medical Center with a focus on limb salvage, diabetic wound care and amputation prevention, as well as lower extremity trauma / sports related injuries to the foot and ankle.
He attended Saint Mary’s College of California completing his undergraduate studies prior to receiving his medical degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Boynton also holds appointments at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and the DVA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System where he is actively involved in resident education and training. In addition to the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he is a member of the clinical faculty at Western University of Health Sciences School of Podiatric Medicine.
His clinical expertise includes advanced diabetic wound care and limb salvage techniques with complex reconstruction of painful joints in the foot and ankle and as such he is a select participant in a number of clinical research trials investigating novel diabetic wound care modalities.
Dr. Boynton is currently accepting new patients at the UCLA Gonda Vascular Center where he is focused on patient centered care.
