It is the policy of UCLA Health that all employees, physicians and temporary employees wear a photo identification badge. Further, all new employees, including temporary employees, must have their UCLA Health issued identification badge prior to working within UCLA Health facilities.

UCLA Health provides limited access to UCLA Health facilities for safety and security reasons. All persons entering the facility are required to be verified. During limited access hours the facility will offer only a few security checkpoints.

All UCLA Health facilities maintain a smoke and tobacco free environment for the health, safety and comfort of all patients, faculty, staff and visitors.
It is a violation of state law for any employee, or visitor other than a peace officer, to bring a firearm, dirk, dagger, knife with a blade of more than 2½ inches, a locking knife, razor with an unguarded blade, taser, or stun gun, upon the premises of the University of California.
