Dr. Arasu earned her medical degree and completed her Internal Medicine residency at UCLA. She went on to do her endocrinology fellowship at UCSF. During that time, she spent extensive time doing research in osteoporosis with world-renowned experts in the field. Dr. Arasu enjoys travelling and trying new restaurants in her free time.

Dr. Cheung was born and raised in Orange County, California and is 4th generation Asian American. She did her undergraduate work at UCLA where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and was awarded Magna Cum Laude honors. She went on to purse a Masters in Public Health in Health Education and Health Policy at UCLA, where she was also awarded the distinction of Highest Honors. She completed her medical school training at UC San Diego School of Medicine in 2004, and completed her residency training at White Memorial Medical Center/Loma Linda University in Los Angeles where she was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Amy Cummings is a hematologist and medical oncologist who practices in Westwood and Torrance. In Westwood, she sees lung cancer patients as part of a multidisciplinary team one day a week and runs clinical trials. In Torrance, she sees patients with all types of cancer and offers virtual visits through the telehealth program. Her clinical interests include immunotherapy, precision medicine, and providing equitable care to all patients regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Dr. Jennifer Han is a Southern California native, born and raised in the South Bay. She completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley as a Regent’s Scholar and double majored in Business Administration and Molecular & Cell Biology. She earned her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, honor society. She completed her training in Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at UCLA where she remained on as faculty. In addition to treating general endocrinology, Dr. Han has a special interest in diabetes, prediabetes, obesity and endocrine disorders during pregnancy. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading, and fine dining.

Dr. Harari received her medical degree with distinction at Washington University School of Medicine, trained in general surgery at Columbia University and completed the premier U.S. Endocrine Surgery fellowship at UCSF before coming to UCLA. After arriving at UCLA, she also completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Research. Her research interests focus on risk factors for developing advanced thyroid cancers. Dr. Harari is an expert in the management of benign and malignant tumors of the adrenal, thyroid, and parathyroid glands as well as the neuroendocrine pancreas.

Dr. Peddi received her Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and Duke University School of Medicine for her medical degree, where she spent a year conducting research at the NIH as a Howard Hughes Scholar. She completed Internal Medicine training at Washington University and also served as a Chief Resident. She pursued her Hematology/Oncology training at Washington University and UCLA.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, Dr. Peddi is dedicated to providing individualized, patient centered care. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Dr. Shieh grew up in the Greater Boston area, and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then moved to New York City, where he earned his medical degree and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Weill Cornell Medical College. After his residency, he moved to Los Angeles, where he went to UCLA for his Endocrinology fellowship. During this fellowship, he received training in all areas of clinical endocrinology, as well as extensive clinical and research training in osteoporosis from world leaders in the field. Dr. Shieh has been on the UCLA faculty since 2016. He currently sees patients at both the Westwood campus and in the South Bay. His clinical practice focuses on osteoporosis and calcium disorders, but he is also interested in general endocrinology. Dr. Shieh remains actively involved in osteoporosis research, and has published in top journals in his field, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, and Osteoporosis International. He has served as guest editor of the Bone Disorders issue of Endocrinology & Metabolism Clinics of North America, and is currently a reviewer for Osteoporosis International and Bone. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two baby girls, going to the driving range and batting cage, and traveling. He is fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Harpreet Sidhu is a nephrologist who practices in Torrance. His clinical interests include a variety of principles of nephrology, including CKD, dialysis, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, and electrolyte abnormalities. He is also a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Sidhu received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. He then completed his internal medicine residency at UCSF-Fresno, and his fellowship at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center, where he was co-chief fellow. He earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from UC Davis. Dr. Sidhu was born and raised in the Bay Area and recently moved to Marina del Rey with his wife, who is also a physician at UCLA. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing and watching basketball and football, and spending time with his family and friends.
