The White Paper mechanism allows AIDS Institute members to obtain funding for specific program activities or resources such as conferences, workshops, think tanks and marketing/fundraising. Applicants fill out a short application form including the rationale for the activity and the budget. Proposals are reviewed and decided upon by the AIDS Institute leadership group (Director and Associate Directors).

An application form can be downloaded and should be emailed to the appropriate program area Associate Director for pre-review:

Basic/Translational: Jerome Zack
Clinical: Ronald Mitsuyasu
Prevention: Gail Wyatt
International/ Policy: Thomas Coates
Biobehavioral Epidemiology and Substance Abuse: Pamina Gorbach
