Benjamin I. Graham, OD, is a medical optometrist at Stein Eye Institute – Santa Monica. His area of expertise is comprehensive primary eye care, with particular interest in immediate care, specialty contact lens fits for challenging corneas, corneal crosslinking, and geriatric care.
Dr. Graham is a double alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley, having received his Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and Spanish before pursuing a Doctorate of Optometry at the same institution. He trained at Castle Family Health Centers in California as well as Miami VA Medical Center and Albuquerque VA Medical Center. Continuing to care for the veteran population, Dr. Graham completed a residency in hospital-based optometry at Togus VAMC in Maine.
Prior to his arrival at the Stein Eye Institute, Dr. Graham practiced with the prestigious Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston group. There, he cared for patients in the Cornea division and was involved in extensive clinical research on corneal crosslinking.
Born in Kansas and raised in Northern California, Dr. Graham is bilingual in Spanish and English. He is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.
