We invite the UCLA cancer community to join us on May 8 for the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center Annual All Center Symposium!
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. This event is free of charge.
The Symposium is open to all UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center members from UCLA and our affiliate partner Caltech, as well as the broader UCLA cancer community of scientists, physicians and staff. This is not a public event.
Activities and event schedule
The Symposium is an opportunity for the wide array of individuals working to accelerate discoveries that prevent and cure cancer to share progress and accomplishments, to discuss challenges and future directions, and to develop and strengthen collaborations.
The keynote speaker for the Symposium is James Gulley, MD, PhD, F.A.C.P., Co-Director of the Center for Immuno-Oncology at the Center for Cancer Research, and Clinical Director of the National Cancer Institute.
Activities will include sessions comprised of talks on a variety of topics, poster exhibits, opportunities to learn about the resources available within the Cancer Center, networking, and more!
This Symposium is made possible by the generous philanthropy of Mr. Ali Jassim

Trainees' Poster Session
The UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center would like to invite graduate students and postdoctoral research and clinical fellows to submit an abstract for consideration for a poster display at the Symposium. This is a great opportunity for trainees to share their cancer-focused research projects and network with colleagues. Prizes in each category will be awarded.
The deadline for poster abstract submission is February 26. As there are a limited number of slots for posters, those whose poster are selected for display at the Symposium will be notified by March 18 of acceptance. For more information and instructions on how to submit, visit the Call for Posters page on the Cancer Center website.
