UCLA Health is proud to serve Century City and the surrounding communities. Our Century City primary care office consists of 5 physicians - 1 Med-Peds (General Internal Medicine & Pediatrics) physician and 4 Family Medicine physicians. All of the physicians in the group are board certified in their fields. All are UCLA Medical Group members accepting most insurances and hold faculty teaching appointments in the medical school.
In addition, all of the physicians are on staff at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
We offer quality medical care for the entire family, delivered with outstanding customer service for the entire visit, starting at the front desk. We are available to see our patients for same day appointments for illnesses, and we are open seven days a week.
People often ask what is a "Med-Peds" physician? Pediatrics is the medical specialty devoted to the care and treatment of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. It encompasses the areas of child nutrition, development, growth and maturation as well as dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of specific childhood illnesses - be they biologic, behavioral or social. Internal Medicine is similarly devoted to the comprehensive health care of adults. Med-Peds physicians complete a 4 year residency program combining both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and are eligible for certification from both the American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Internal Medicine.
A physician trained in med-peds can care for the newborn to the geriatric patients. By incorporating both specialties in one practice, we are able to offer comprehensive medical care to the entire family.
