Dr. Smart joined the UCLA Department of Pathology as an Assistant Clinical Professor in 2008 and is a board certified Dermatopathologist. She completed both her anatomic/clinical pathology residency and dermatopathology fellowship training at UCLA. Dr. Smart has a special interest in disease of the scalp, especially scarring alopecia, and cutaneous lymphomas. She also has an active teaching role in the Pathology and Dermatology departments.
