Dr. Kari Kubalanza is a hematologist and medical oncologist who practices in Santa Monica and Westwood. She provides general cancer care Monday through Thursday in Santa Monica, and gynecologic oncology and breast cancer care to patients with ovarian, cervical, endometrial or breast cancers on Fridays in Westwood.
Dr. Kubalanza received her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, followed by hematology oncology fellowships at UC-San Diego and UCLA.

Dr. Caspian Oliai is a medical oncologist and hematologist who practices in Westwood. He is also Medical Director of the UCLA Bone Marrow Transplantation Stem Cell Processing Center. He specializes in hematologic malignancies, with expertise in acute leukemia, lymphoma, allogeneic stem cell transplantation, autologous stem cell transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy and benign hematologic conditions.
Dr. Oliai completed his internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship at UCLA. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Miami, a master's degree in biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Oliai is a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is heavily involved in developing new cancer therapies. He has designed several investigator-initiated multicenter clinical trials in acute leukemia and CAR T-cell therapy, on which he serves as the Principal Investigator. His work has been published in a multitude of prominent medical journals.
Dr. Oliai is originally from Philadelphia and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of California. When he's not working, he enjoys hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains and skiing in Mammoth.

Dr. David Shin attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed internal medicine residency at University of Massachusetts and fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He treats benign and malignant conditions of hematology as well as various cancers. He endeavors to provide compassionate care.
