The UCLA Polycystic Kidney Disease Center consists of a team of skilled physicians whom specialize in treating patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Our Team constantly aspires to obtain CORE Values.
As a team, we strive to achieve Clinical Excellence by offering comprehensive care for our PKD patients and their families. Our patients are confident that they are receiving excellent, quality care. This care is a spectrum starting from preventative education on lifestyle modifications to disease management to navigating the kidney transplant process. We value the opportunity to Outreach within our Southern California community. Through various events, we hope to increase patient involvement in the PKD community by raising awareness. Outreach allows us to expand our connections within patients, families, and the public. For instance, attending events such as the annual Los Angeles PKD WALK, and other PKD Foundation events. Our relationship with the PKD foundation is important to us when advocating our CORE values. Furthermore, our office is very active in Research. Through our clinical research trials, we hope we are able to ultimately contribute to slowing down the progression of polycystic kidney disease, and to provide patients of PKD treatments that they would otherwise be unable to receive. Education is the key to expanding the length of kidney function. Thus, we are dedicated toward providing our patients, their families, and friends’ access to learn more about Polycystic Kidney Disease. We hold several education events throughout the year, such as our quarterly UKEEP events and Annual Kidney Fair.
Overall, the UCLA Polycystic Kidney Disease Center team looks forward to working with you!
