We are very pleased to announce that our next global virtual kidney event “The UCLA CORE Kidney Health Patient Conference 2021” will take place on Sunday, March 21st !
The purpose of this event is to Educate, Empower and Inspire Hope, especially in the current unprecedented setting of COVID-19, among patients and their loved ones. The event has a very powerful line-up of speakers addressing different aspects of kidney care. We will be focusing on the very latest research and information on the management of kidney disease at UCLA Health. Topics include COVID-19 and its impact, treating diverse communities, home dialysis, kidney donation and transplantation, patient stories and much more.
Our first virtual fair took place on May 17th 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It had a global reach covering six continents with over 5,000 participants. Please see below:

Under the leadership of our Clinical Chief, Anjay Rastogi MD PhD, The UCLA CORE Kidney Health Program has made great strides in advancing the care of our patients and their families by implementing our CORE Values of Clinical Care, Outreach, Research and Education. UCLA Nephrology is ranked number one in the West and number three in the country. Our focus is on integrative medicine, with emphasis on prevention and education, so patients can become their own best advocates! Our CORE Kidney Program is involved in a number of outreach events throughout the year, such as monthly educational webinars and virtual symposiums.
