What should I do if I’m not sure if I have CTD-ILD?

If you are unsure about your diagnosis of Connective Tissue Disease-Interstitial Lung Disease (CTD-ILD) and your eligibility to participate in this program, please call the primary coordinator for the CTD-ILD Program at (310) 825-5800. She will write down your information and speak with one of the CTD-ILD doctors to determine whether the CTD-ILD Program is right for you.

I am interested in participating in CTD-ILD research. How do I get involved?

The best way to learn about research opportunities for CTD-ILD is to speak with your doctor in the CTD-ILD Program. She/he can tell you about potential research studies for which you may be eligible. For additional information, you can also call the research coordinator for the CTD-ILD Program at (310) 794-2466.

I already have a Pulmonologist or Rheumatologist at UCLA. Can I still participate in the CTD-ILD program?

Absolutely! You do not need to change your pulmonologist or rheumatologist at UCLA to participate in the program. You can continue to see your regular doctor. The CTD-ILD Program clinical coordinator will still help you to schedule your appointments and studies and will also notify you of opportunities to participate in CTD-ILD research studies.

If you have any additional questions, please contact the CTD-ILD Program Coordinator at (310) 825-5800.
