Final Disposition

After studies are completed, which could last several years, the disposition of remains of donor bodies are completed in a legal, professional and dignified way as set forth by the health and safety standards established by the State of California.

Anatomical remains such as an organ (heart, liver, etc.) from a particular body are not always disposed of at the same time. Human tissue or anatomical parts that have been removed or dissected from donor bodies may be disposed of to protect the public health and safety.

This may be accomplished by placing them with human tissue from other bodies within the same disposal container and cared for in the same legal, dignified and professional fashion as described above.
