Biography
I received my medical degree (M.D.) in China from Xianning Medical School, China and have been involved in research studies at UCLA Harbor Medical Center for 10 years before joining Dr. Radu lab in 2011. Here, I received extensive training in laboratory-specific techniques as well as mouse genetics and I currently oversee our newly developed mouse colonies of transgenic and knockout lines. I worked with Dr. Radu for over a decade and acquired proficieniency in retinoid biochemistry, vision molecular biology, and mouse genetics. I love interacting with the undergraduate researchers and pre- and post-doctoral trainees.
