The department's fellowship program in Addiction Medicine welcomes Drs. Amy Richards and Angela Sepulveda (top), both graduates of our Family Medicine Residency Training Program. We also welcome three new Sports Medicine Fellows (bottom) Drs. Brian Donohoe, Sherilyn DeStefano, and Lauren Oberle. Both our Addiction and Sports Medicine Fellowship programs are committed to recruiting outstanding primary care physicians to train in our unique and challenging interdisciplinary environment.
CBAM is going mobile!
The Center for Behavioral and Addiction Medicine's new mobile clinic is now ready for deployment as part of the HIV Prevention Trials Network with collaborating sites in Houston, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., and the Bronx.
Dr. Mary Marfisee
Dr. Mary Marfisee, Program Director of the Department's Student-Run Homeless Clinic has been named Clinical Programs Medical Director for the Homeless Healthcare Collaborative being coordinated by the UCLA Health Office of Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Together with former Family Medicine chair Dr. Patrick Dowling, Dr. Marfisee was instrumental in launching the new collaborative in partnership with the Department of Emergency Medicine and the UCLA HEDI office.
