We've built our unique care program on focusing on adding value to your life, despite your chronic condition. This means:
1. Controlling your disease
2. Increasing your quality of life
3. Increasing work and school productivity
To track these three health aspects, we've developed a benchmark called the Value Quotient (VQ) to measure a patient's health and the value of care. Our team works to improve the Value Quotient (VQ) for each individual patient each year.
By participating in our care program, you'll benefit from:
Tight Control Scenarios Allow Direct Interaction with IBD Specialists and Nurses
Your disease is either "active" or "quiet." Active means it is causing symptoms like diarrhea, pain, or weight loss. Quiet means your disease is under control, in a state we call "remission." Depending on your disease activity, we either switch on our Tight Control (TC) scenarios to treat your active symptoms or switch on our Tight Control scenarios for maintaining disease control. When enrolled in one of our TC scenarios, you will start a year-round care cycle that is constantly adjusted to improve your Value Quotient.
Alternative Treatments: Clinical Trials and Stem Cell Therapy
If you are not responding to the treatment in the TC scenarios, our team of IBD specialists can discuss with you alternative options such as clinical trials for experimental medication or stem cell therapy.
