We have an extensive alumni network here at the VA/UCLA Geriatric Medicine Fellowship where we function as a community. We have hundreds of alumni all over the world working in countless vocations.
We are very proud to have such an expansive, embracing, and diverse alumni network of leaders that will continue to make positive contributions to Geriatric Medicine.Notable alumni > | Alumni Newsletters >
In May 2018 the UCLA Geriatrics Fellowship had its most recent reunion at the AGS meeting in Orlando, FL, the Happiest Place on Earth. The party was attended by (insert number) current faculty and alumni, as well as all of our current fellows and Advanced Geriatric Medicine Fellows. As always, we had a wonderful time eating, drinking, hugging and reminiscing. It was also an excellent networking opportunity for all in attendance. We look forward to our next reunion in Portland in May 2019.
The Geriatric Journal Club is a learning activity where current fellows and faculty critically review a recent journal publication of a new research study, whose findings are relevant to the clinical care of older adults.
All are welcome to attend the presentation, held in the UCLA Geriatrics Conference Room at the Peter V. Ueberroth Building, Suite 2339. If you would like to be on the mialing list, please contact Alina Pogorelova at firstname.lastname@example.org or 310-825-5421. The next journal club will take place on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 8am – 9am.
