The UCLA-VA Multi-campus Geriatrics fellowship is one of the largest, most distinguished programs in the country.  It has consistently been ranked as one of the top programs by U.S. News & World Report. UCLA Medical Center

UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center is one of the top medical centers in California and the nation. It was founded in 1955, and reopened in 2008 with a 520-bed, 10 story structure, providing tertiary care to the Los Angeles community.  Fellows get broad exposure to care at the main site including the neuropsychiatric and consultative inpatient rotation, outpatient community experiences and in continuity clinic.

Harbor UCLA Medical Center

Los Angeles County Harbor UCLA Medical Center

Harbor UCLA Medical Center is a 570-bed public teaching hospital in the South Bay portion of Los Angeles. Fellows get the unique experience of caring for patients in a county system operated by the LA County Depart of Health Services. This hospital a level-one trauma center providing the highest level of surgical care to trauma patients.

VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System | Sepulveda Campus

The Sepulveda VA campus features primary care and specialty health clinics and is one of the largest outpatient care facilities providing care for 1.4 million veterans in the LA area. It is combines comprehensive ambulatory care, with teaching and education for medical trainees, and research. This location is also the site for the home-based primary care program, providing healthcare services to veterans in their homes.

VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System | West LA VA Campus

The West LA VA covers approximately 400 acres in the West LA area is the largest and most complex healthcare within the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Fellows get diverse and broad experience in numerous settings including inpatient, outpatient, palliative, rehabilitation, nursing home, and long-term care. The VA provides one of the largest portion of financial support for the fellowship.

Berkeley East Healthcare Center

Berkley East a premiere healthcare center in Santa Monica providing skilled services to patients on the westside in need of rehabilitation and recovery after hospitalization. The facility is also the primary site for the UCLA Post-Acute/Nursing home rotation, which has been highly rated in the fellowship program.

Oakview Healthcare Center

Oakview Healthcare Center

Oakview Healthcare Center provides care and senior health services for residents in the Thousand Oaks area. It provides both short term skilled nursing and long-term care to residents and also has community living options including assisted living and memory care.  It was rated by US News and World Report as one of the best nursing homes in 2021-2022.

Panorama Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Located in Panorama City, this nursing facility provides short term skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and long-term care. The approach is comprehensive with interdisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, nursing, rehabilitation, and social services. This is also one of the locations for the continuity long-term care experience.

PACE Center |  Los Angeles Jewish Health

The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a distinctive initiative designed to empower seniors to stay in their own homes for an extended period, even if they meet the eligibility criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, or nursing home care. Our main goal is to offer comprehensive in-home care and support, enabling older individuals to age in place, all without imposing monthly premiums, co-pays, deductibles, or additional charges.
