Eligibility and Donor Self-Screening Information

Donor Self-Screening Information

Please review the following information to help determine if you are eligible to donate:

NOTICE TO DONORS – DO NOT GIVE BLOOD IF:

  • You have had a fever, chills, new loss of smell or taste, cough, body aches, fatigue, or sore throat in the last 48 hours.
  • You are currently waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test because you felt sick.
  • You have reason to believe you might be sick with COVID-19.

For the safety of our donors and staff, only donors with appointments are permitted in the Donor Center.
Donors must wear face covering to enter the donor center.

There is never any monetary reimbursement for a blood donation at UCLA.
