Welcome from Dr. Ravi Dave, MD

Ravi Dave, MDWelcome to the University of California-Los Angeles, Section of Interventional Cardiology Website. We created this website to reflect our work in clinical care, education, and research and celebrate the medical care that we are able to provide thanks to the accomplishments of our faculty and staff members. As a section, we are committed to be in the forefront of medical discovery delivering cutting edge medicine and improving the health of our patients and our community as a whole.

We offer full breadth of testing from invasive evaluation of hemodynamics to repairing of heart valves and blood vessels in a minimally invasive approach. Our faculty has distinguished themselves by their expertise in some of the most complex coronary interventions and developed special programs including Chronic Total Occlusion Treatment, Complete Revascularization in Complex High Risk Indicated Patients. We provide cutting edge structural heart disease treatments in collaboration with our Congenital Heart Disease Program and our faculty are leaders in fields of minimally invasive Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, MitraClip programs. We also provide multitude of services in the Vascular Diseases as detailed in this website.

We also pride ourselves in our mission in Education and Research. Our division trains 2 interventional cardiology fellows per year and our alumni have gone on to become prominent leaders in their respective specialties as well. As part of this mission, we take part in multiple research trials, where are able to push the envelope and offer some of the newest technologies to our patients.
