We value your professional development and growth and want to invest in your continued success by providing accessible resources for learning.  In addition to the catalog of instructor-led courses offered by our Learning and Development team (CORE), UCLA Health Human Resources also offers free LinkedIn Learning accounts to all UCLA Health employees.

LinkedIn Learning provides access to a video library of over 16,000 professional development courses that span a wide variety of topics including communication skills, leadership development, technology and more. The LinkedIn Learning catalog can be accessed at any time and you can take an unlimited number of courses.

Accessing your LinkedIn Learning account:

To activate your account for the first time, launch the following introductory course: How to Use LinkedIn Learning. You will first sign in with your Mednet credentials in Cornerstone, and will then be connected to the LinkedIn Learning portal.  The first time you log in, you will be given the option to connect your LinkedIn profile, if you have one (this is an optional step). If you opt to connect your accounts, you will be asked to enter your LinkedIn password as part of the log in process.

  • If you choose to connect your LinkedIn account, you can access LinkedIn Learning courses directly from the LinkedIn website (via the “Learning” tab on your LinkedIn page), through the LinkedIn Learning app, or through UCLA Health’s LinkedIn Learning single sign-on portal.
    • Users who are on site or accessing through VPN (GlobalProtect), will need to access LinkedIn Learning through LinkedIn Learning single sign-on.
  • If you opt not to connect your LinkedIn account, or you do not have one, you can still access the full library of LinkedIn Learning courses through Cornerstone or directly through LinkedIn Learning by signing in through LinkedIn Learning single sign-on.
