Program Highlights
Ana with gift - Multiple, diverse training environments in various health care systems and the community
Jeff at SGIM - Emphasis on evidence-based chronic disease management and preventative care
Liz, Jose, and Samira at OV - Full spectrum primary care including “ bread-and-butter medicine”, rare medical conditions, as well as socially and behaviorally complex patients
Asaad and Nat in DC - Curriculum encompassing themes such as community health, patient-centered and team-based interprofessional care, behavioral health, quality improvement, health care systems, health policy, and advocacy
LA Care outreach - A Community Medicine curriculum, which focuses on patient care and resources in the community. Residents join community health workers, homeless programs, and community agencies to do home and site visits
PC game night - Two Wellness & Panel Management sessions during each ambulatory block
Sports med - A myriad of specialized training opportunities, from sports medicine, to asylum training, HIV primary care, buprenorphine training and more!
Carol Warde’s Retirement - Dedicated resident mentorship, to encourage leadership in clinical care, education, research, and health systems
