Executive Management

UCLA Health Management Programs share the unique skills and methods by which our leaders manage our organization every day and offers others the opportunity to observe and learn from our clinicians. These programs offer five different subject areas (people, service, quality, operations, finance/strategy). A clinical observation component can be added for physician and nursing leaders to round out their experience. The curriculum goal is to design a leadership development solution that embodies your organization’s culture, incorporates and propels the diligent talent management work that is already taking place, and creates a transformational development experience that continues long after.

Key focus areas:

  • U.S. Healthcare System
  • Strategy and Marketing for Health Organizations
  • MOVERS and ValU Quality Strategy
  • Healthcare Financial Management
  • Operations Management
  • Patient Experience (CICARE)

The Clinician Development Program is an opportunity for medical professionals to combine clinical observation with an interactive lecture series covering a variety of organizational topics.

All programs are customizable and can be tailored to match the needs of any organization. In addition to the course content that will be provided in each area, participants will be given the option to pair up with a mentor from their technical work area, to ensure the curriculum can be applied to their organization.
