UCLA Health Development Programs share the unique skills and methods by which our leaders manage our organization every day and offers others the opportunity to observe and learn from our clinicians. These Programs offers five different subject areas (people, service, quality, operations, finance/strategy). A clinical observation component can be added for physician and nursing leaders to round out their experience.
All programs are customizable and can be tailored to match the needs of any organization. In addition to the course content that will be provided in each area, participants students will be given the option to pair up with a mentor from their technical work area, to ensure the curriculum can be applied to their organization.
The Management Development Program allows participants to learn directly from members of our leadership team about the unique practices and strategies that make UCLA Health a world class institution.
The Clinician Development Program is an opportunity for medical professionals to combine clinical observation with an interactive lecture series covering a variety of organizational topics.
