About

Dr. Wiener, a summa cum laude graduate of Columbia University in New York, received his medical education from Harvard University. He completed his internal medicine training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and his cardiology training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Wiener remained at Mount Sinai Hospital as Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory for several years. He has written many research articles as well as chapters in medical textbooks. He teaches as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA where he was the co-director of the Arrhythmia Center.

Dr. Wiener is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and Subspecialty Board of Cardiovascular Diseases. In addition, he is a diplomate of the Subspecialty Board in Cardiac Electrophysiology and holds a special certificate of competency in cardiac pacing from the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Wiener specializes in patients with rhythm problems of the heart including medication, ablation and pacemaker/defibrillators. He works together with many cardiologists both within CCMG and in other practices. Dr. Wiener very much enjoys getting to know his patients personally.
