Often, CKD is undetected before irreversible kidney damage has occurred. In response, the UCLA Kidney Health Program has developed the Kidney Function Preservation Pathway for physicians.
Opened in September of 2016, the Santa Monica Outpatient Center (SMOC) serves the dialysis vascular needs of the surrounding communities. Patients no longer have to go through the emergency department to receive critical procedures.
