Ishminder Kaur, MD

About

Dr. Ishminder Kaur is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Medical Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. She received her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in India and completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.
After completing her pediatric residency, Dr. Kaur served as the Assistant Director of the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center at Albert Einstein Medical Center and a pediatric Hospitalist at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia. After fellowship, she served as the Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and the Chair of Infection Prevention at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for two years prior to coming to UCLA. During this time, she also served as a visiting Pediatric Infectious Diseases consultant at Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was the Chair of Infection Prevention Program.
