Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship

The Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program was founded in 1980. Approximately 60 fellows have trained in the program since its inception. Most graduating fellows have become prominent members of the pediatric nephrology community either in private practice or affiliated with premiere academic institutions. 

Duration

The Pediatric Nephrology fellowship training program is a 3-year program, which is composed of 17 months of clinical training and 16 months of supervised research training. (3 months vacation).

Objectives of the Fellowship Training Program

The fundamental goal of this training program is to educate the fellows to become accomplished physicians with skills and expertise in Pediatric Nephrology.  At the completion of this training program, the trainee will have the potential, abilities and expectation to thrive in an academic and/or tertiary care pediatric environment.
