Dr. Ronald Tsao is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Sports Medicine. He grew up in Southern California and transplanted to Illinois where he received his medical degree from University of Illinois and finished a residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He has a special interest in sports medicine and received further training through his fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. During his fellowship, he was involved in the care of athletes in junior high, high school, NCAA division 1 athletics, and professional sports (Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, and Chicago Fire). His clinical interests include preventative care in children and adults, men’s health, concussions, and nonoperative sports medicine. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and fishing.
