Find your care
We care for patients with cerebral palsy in all life stages. To learn more about cerebral palsy treatment at UCLA Health, call 424-259-6593.
The Center for Cerebral Palsy holds two clinics weekly – one located within UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and one at Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC) in Los Angeles. The Santa Monica location has a lifespan clinic where adults and children are evaluated; the OIC location evaluates children under 21 years of age.
All new patients receive a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced team. The evaluation process includes determining the goals with the patient and family and developing a treatment plan. Treatments are tailored to meet the individual patient’s needs. As part of the UCLA family, referral may be made to
- Neurology
- Neurosurgery
- Pain management
- Developmental pediatrics
- Ophthalmology
- Urology
- Gastroenterology
- Head and neck (ENT)
A new patient appointment offers access to consultations in orthopaedic surgery, biomechanical assessment, physical therapy and physical medicine and rehabilitation. After the initial consultation, return appointments provide an assessment of on-going issues, implementation of treatment interventions and follow-up care.
