The Division of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar to join Dr. Roger Lo's laboratory focused on cancer and melanoma research.
The candidate is expected to have published in peer-reviewed journals in any area of the biomedical sciences (cancer research preferred) and to have less than 6 months of cumulative postdoctoral research experience, including postdoctoral service at other institutions. Areas of research include the mechanisms of melanoma metastasis and therapy resistance, sequencing of therapies and combinations, predictive biomarkers, novel therapeutic targets, and the tumor microenvironment. Data sets are generated from mouse models, clinical trial patients and warm autopsies. The types of data include WGS/WES, RNA-seq, methylome, ATAC-seq, CyTOF, scRNA-seq and various types of epigenomic and proteomic data. A PhD is required.

The Division of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for full-time clinician educators in an academic setting for our practices in Westwood and Santa Monica for medical dermatology, including pediatric dermatology, cutaneous oncology, lymphoma and melanoma, as well as for our community campuses in additional Southern California locations, including Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Thousand Oaks, Burbank, Beverly Hills, Encino, Santa Clarita and Downtown for medical and surgical dermatology.
Responsibilities include a minimum of 34 hours per week of direct patient care, supervision of trainees and academic contributions. In addition, the position requires participation and creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that involve teaching, research and administration. The successful candidate must be eligible to sit for the American Board of Dermatology exam, and have an excellent record of clinical activity in medical and/or surgical dermatology. Additionally, the candidate must have graduated from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency. An MD or DO is required.
