Dr. Michael Sniderman earned his medical degree in his home state of Ohio at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. After a brief stint in private practice he moved to academic Medicine in 2012. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Sniderman has previously worked as a pain fellowship associate director, helping to educate the next generation of pain physicians. As a member of the Blue Shield of California accreditation committee, he has had the opportunity to ensure patients throughout the state were getting appropriate medical care. Dr. Sniderman’s pain practice is focused on restoring function and improving the quality of patients’ lives. He knows it’s often impossible to eradicate all of a patient’s pain, but meaningful improvements can be made using a combination of physical and occupational therapies, injective treatments, and complementary medicine. Dr. Sniderman is honored to join the UCLA South Bay community and looks forward to working with patients from this great community.
