Dr. Kochar provides comprehensive general cardiac care for adult patients. She treats both inpatients and outpatients for a variety of cardiac disease processes. These include coronary artery disease, lipid disorders, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, disorders of the heart valves, abnormal heart rhythms and myocardial infarctions. Dr. Kochar has a special interest in women's health and appreciates the varied presentations of heart disease in women.
Dr. Kochar attended medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. She subsequently completed residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed by her General Cardiology fellowship at Temple University. Dr. Kochar went on to complete a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Weill-Cornell Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital.
