Our Mission: to improve the lives of persons with multiple sclerosis and allied demyelinating diseases.
The UCLA Multiple Sclerosis (MS) clinic provides comprehensive state of the art care for persons with MS and other demyelinating conditions. MS is a complicated and unpredictable disease that can affect one’s physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Multiple Sclerosis entails multiple issues, affects multiple people (other than the patient), and thus requires a multi-disciplinary approach for optimal care.
Our team offers a full spectrum of treatment options to modify the disease, improve symptoms and function, and enhance quality of life. Following a thorough evaluation, UCLA MS specialists develop an individualized treatment plan together with the patient to optimize care, guiding patients to the different healthcare specialists they need for every aspect of their care. We also offer second opinions to confirm a diagnosis or review an existing treatment plan.
The UCLA Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic has received the prestigious designation as a “Center for Comprehensive MS Care” from the National MS Society, and is one of the few such centers in Los Angeles.
