Our residents practice at three primary inpatient locations: Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Center. Research trainees have access to technology, including research scanners, high density EEG array, TMS, TDC, miniscopes, and Optimal Coherence Tomography (OCT). UCLA is more than 400 acres, yet it is also the most compact per person of all the UC’s. This combination makes for a tightly integrated environment, where access to faculty, technology and resources is plentiful and never far away. Our clinical settings include The Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, one of the top tertiary referral centers in the U.S. treating patients from across the United States and the world. Our other clinical care settings comprise an exceptionally diverse patient population in terms of culture, race and economic status, as would be expected in the second largest metropolitan area in the country. LA itself is a prominent center of culture, dining, shopping, art, and entertainment, as well as offering year-round outdoor opportunities to hike, swim, surf, bike and even ski (within a two-hour drive). And, of course, we’re also home to the UCLA Bruins! See our clinical and research practice locations below and check out this video highlighting our campus and LA, and this video featuring our sites from a resident's perspective.
