Our primary goal is to provide the fullest educational experience we can to trainees.

Faculty and Fellows at annual Science Day poster session.Faculty and Fellows at annual Science Day poster session.

We are continually considering the changing landscape of healthcare in the U.S. and the world, and planning how to prepare our trainees for these changes. Our trainees also tell us what they need and we work with them to find solutions. This collaboration helps our department improve every year.

Programs include development tracks for residents who want to focus on a particular area of interest; a summer elective for underrepresented medical students; and annual alumni days, lectures and poster contests. In addition, stay tuned for more information regarding our Communications Track in which residents will concentrate on learning techniques and honing skills in messaging about neuroscience to stakeholders including patients, colleagues, and the public across varied media. Please explore our programs listed at left.
