Steve Tisch - Visionary Award
STEVE TISCH has the distinction of being the only person on the planet with both an Academy Award, for the film Forrest Gump, and two Super Bowl rings as Chairman and Executive Vice President of the New York Giants who defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI. He joined the Giants organization as Executive Vice President in July 2005, but has been involved with the team since 1991. He worked on the planning and construction of MetLife Stadium, and helped bring Super Bowl XLVIII there for 2014. As a partner with Escape Artists, an independently financed motion picture and television production company, Steve has produced a diverse range of films including The Pursuit of Happyness, The Taking of Pelham 123, and Hope Springs. His most recent project, Sex Tape, starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, began production in September 2013.
Steve contributes to many worthy organizations including The Simon Wiesenthal Center and UCLA Neurosurgery, and is a member of the Board of Advisors at NYU's Tisch School and The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Cancer Center.
