The Nurse Practitioner Professional Advancement Program recognizes the Nurse Practitioner III as a clinical expert who demonstrates excellence through advanced clinical practice, education and leadership. The purpose of this role is to encourage nurse practitioners to become nursing leaders through participation in clinical care, research, education and service to the medical center.
NP III designation is reviewed every three years, as outlined in the documentation, below.
Applications are accepted two periods each year: March 1st through March 31st, and September 1st through 30th.
