As the program-based CNS, and nurse-leader in an interdisciplinary team, I play a key role in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with seizure disorders. My sphere of influence impacts complex treatment decisions of the nursing and medical teams, and those of patients and families, with the overall goal to maximize quality of life.
My practice includes the safe management of patients admitted to the epilepsy monitoring unit including the development and implementation of practice guidelines
My professional influence is broad and includes consultancy and advocacy activities across practice settings, nationally and internationally.
