This course will provide you with a deeper understanding of the phases that people experience during significant change, and will review strategies that can be applied immediately to leverage those reactions, and effectively lead your team through challenging times.
Working in Multi-Generational Teams
Duration: 1 hours
Description: Today’s workplace has several, distinct generations working side by side, each with dramatically different communication styles, professional expectations and training needs. This rich diversity of staff offers exciting and dynamic possibilities, but the opportunity for misunderstanding, confusion and lost productivity is also high. This course will help you understand the different needs and expectations of each generation and look at ways to narrow communication gaps, increase inter-generation appreciation and create more cohesive, multi-generational teams.
Coaching for Peak Performance
Duration: 2.5 hours
Description: Learn why coaching is a critical skill for leading a team, and what it takes to be a great coach. This course covers the four coaching styles and explains, in depth, when and how to use each one. Also provided, is a model to help structure your coaching conversations that will help give you and your team member a clear path for moving forward.
Conflict Management in the Workplace
Duration: 2.5 hours
Description: Conflict is a part of life. How we approach and handle the conflict can determine if the conflict will have a positive or negative result. This course provides time-tested methods for producing positive outcomes from the many different types of conflict you face in a work environment.
Excelling in a Changing Environment
Duration: 2 hours
Description: The only thing constant is change, and your work environment is changing now more than ever before. Being able to personally navigate change, and lead a team through change, is paramount for the success of your work. This course provides you with the fundamental understanding of the different phases that people experience during change, and what you can do to assist during each phase. Additionally, you will learn how each individual can react differently to change and how you can leverage those reactions to excel in a changing environment.
Crucial Conversations
Duration: 2 days (3 hours per day)
Description: Crucial Conversations teaches essential skills for creating alignment and agreement amongst team members by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional or risky topics. Anyone who wants to learn how to speak more assertively, address difficult subjects or set appropriate boundaries will learn valuable skills for communicating confidently in the workplace. Participants will learn skills that will help them overcome communication barriers that exist around emotionally charged topics such as lack of trust with a colleague, disagreement around high stakes issues, or office politics and hierarchy. This training can help teams that are battling low morale, declining productivity, safety violations or poor patient/customer satisfaction. By learning how to assertively speak, and encouraging others to do the same, participants will begin to address sensitive conversations with confidence and collaborate more openly with colleagues to make the highest-quality decisions.
