UCLA Maternal Fetal Medicine

Since the onset of the pandemic, our maternal-fetal medicine faculty have served as leaders in the field in implementing research, disseminating education regarding the disease, and adapting obstetrical protocols to ensure the optimal care of pregnant individuals with COVID-19 in pregnancy. Our UCLA perinatal team have tracked, assessed and continuously revised visitation and obstetrical care guidelines to ensure the safety of our pregnant patients, their offspring, and the community.  With our access to state-of-the-art therapies and technologies, we have successfully cared for some of the most critically ill pregnant individuals in the Southern California region.
