Women who have been diagnosed with vulvodynia or vestibulodynia, or those with chronic pain around the opening of the vagina with or without intercourse, may be eligible to participate. Dr. Andrea Rapkin and her research team from the UCLA Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are conducting a study to evaluate 3 medications for the treatment of the chronic-pain condition called vestibulodynia.

All participants enrolled in the study will undergo the following testing:
After completing the above tests, during the 1st visit participants will be randomized (like drawing numbers from a hat) to one of the 4 treatment groups. As this is a placebo controlled study, you may receive inactive medications.
Eligible women may receive up to $60 for completion of 4 clinic visits over a 6 month period. Parking vouchers will be provided. UCLA Protocol ID: IRB# 19-000899.
