Irma Tan, DNP, MSN, NP-BC is originally from Tondo, Manila in the Philippines. She pursued a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University. Ms. Tan has been a registered nurse in California since 2000 and is a Nationally Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her article, "End of Shift: Why I smile" was published on Nurse.com in October 2010 and November 2011. She is an active volunteer with Hope Force International and travels to areas affected by natural disasters to provide aid.

He completed his Master of Science degree at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in the Master of Health Science PA Program. He enjoys reading, basketball and traveling.
