The Division of Cytology at UCLA Pathology Outreach offers a comprehensive cytodiagnostic, screening and consultative service, including examination of gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and fine needle aspiration specimens. The division has an outstanding quality assurance program for evaluating surgical pathology specimens along with corresponding cytology specimens to enhance patient care. The Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) service includes both samples collected from superficial nodules and from deep nodules. Immediate adequacy assessment is performed as requested.
