Registration Policy

Registrations for any classes, workshops or retreats are accepted by mail, phone, online or walk-in. Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received. Registration with payment is strongly encouraged as class sizes are limited and do fill quickly. If you pre-register without payment and the class fills, you will be notified and placed on a waitlist. You must present proof of any claimed discount by your second class. Scholarships should be requested prior to the start of class.

You must present proof of any claimed discount at the door.

A registration confirmation will be emailed to you. If you do not see it, please check your junk or spam folders. Be sure to add [email protected] to your email address book to ensure you receive future communications.

Work Exchange/Volunteer Opportunities

We are grateful for the generosity of your time as a volunteer. There are limited spaces available for volunteers in most classes, daylongs, and workshops. Volunteering generally includes in-person assistance at events/classes, as well as marketing assistance in the form of flyer distribution. We also have special projects (e.g. graphic design) that can be done in exchange for attending certain MARC programming.

If you are interested in these opportunities, please follow the instructions given in our Work Exchange policy. For questions not addressed in the policy, please email [email protected] or call 310.206.7503 during our phone hours.
