Dr. Alice Chen obtained her medical degree from Cornell University in New York. She completed internship and residency at UCLA. She joined the faculty at UCLA in 2008. She was the co-director of the UCLA Malawi Internal Medicine Residency Rotation in 2008-2009. Her interests include physician advocacy and leadership in improving the health care system. She is currently a part-time clinician and spends the rest of her time as the Executive Director of Doctors for America, a nonprofit grassroots organization of doctors and medical students in all 50 states who are working together to improve the health of the nation and to ensure access to affordable, high-quality health care for everyone.
